Sound quality rating actually refers to recording source. This gives you
listeners a better prediction of what to expect!
Very High = a
song scanned from the audio cassette that came with the dolls
High = a song scanned from a retail
Jem VHS tape
Medium = a song scanned from one of
the episodes but filtered thru a graphic equalizer
Low = unfiltered episode song |
|
or another way to view it
is: |
Very High
= Perfect song (No static or cartoon noises)
High = Near perfect song (No
static, but some cartoon noises)
Medium = Filtered with goal of
perfection song (Filtered static and cartoon noises)
Low = static and cartoon in song |
However, that doesn't truly define each song's quality (for instance, my
"Beat This" or "Family Is" are very good quality, but since
they came from episodes I recorded, their quality was affected by the quality of my VCR's
playback ). Don't let the ratings throw you off. All these songs sound great unless they
are noted as "Low".
