Why did you create this site?
Well, I remember watching Jem as a kid and thinking how much I loved the
show. Suddenly, "Poof!".... it was gone. So I moved on to the next show
(Thundercats, I believe) and didn't give it another thought. However, something just
wasn't right. In about 1990, I found myself constant humming these two songs when I had
little errands and tasks to do, but I couldn't remember the lyrics or who sung them...
just the instrumentals. I exhausted myself trying to find out who sung it. I went
through almost every song you could imagine and just couldn't find it anywhere (PS:
there's ALOT of wierd stuff out there!). And then one day, it hit me! I was sitting in a
computer lab with a friend, helping him debug some C++ code (programming's my major),
humming along, and he suggested I try to sing the song (Gee, what a nifty idea... why
didn't I think of that?). So I stopped humming and started singing (and, Yes the following
is exactly what I said) ^o^,
"Hey, la la la , la la la la la sound, da da
da, da da da, da da da da da your eyes da duuum, duuuuumm! (and suddenly the words slipped
into my mind) Well this only the beginning, only the beginning!"
and like clockwork an image of Jem popped up in my mind. Now,
since I still had a good recollection of Jem (well, I easily remembered her name, but only
remembered what Jerrica looked like), I took the search online and the rest was Jem
Universe history... This site is to hope others who were probably just like me, wondering
around with vague memories of this show and are still searching for Jem. Oh, and in
case your wondering what the other song was.... :)

In order, Stormer, Jerrica, Roxy, Pizzazz.
But Jem and Jerrica are the same person!
Yes, but essentially Jerrica is more responsible and doesn't think she's as good as Jem.

What are my favorite episodes?
"The Fan" (this episode's great right down to the end), "The Bands Break
Up", and "The Day The Music Died" (this should have been the finale instead
of "A Father Should Be...").

Well, the Holograms because Jem and the Holograms just slightly edge the Misfits in music
quality (but the Misfits' personalities are very addictive!)
