Born on June 11th, 1963, Britta Phillips is a native of Boyne City,
Michigan, but grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania until her late teens. At 16, she left
home and moved to New York City and supported herself singing as Jem for the Jem series
and later starred in a movie with Julia Roberts. Later, she joined the band, The Belltower, and
moved to London where the band gained a following. The Belltower was signed to a major label, but later broke up. Below you can check out low-quality Real Audio format versions of some Belltower songs as well as some band info. Currently, Britta plays with a band entitled Luna. Before joining Luna, Britta played bass with the bands Ultrababyfat and Ben Lee. |

singing experiences. The Band members that made up The Belltower were: Jody Porter, Britta
Phillips, Nino Dmytryszyn, Mark Browning (and
on "One Dimensional", Anjali Dutt). The Belltower's CD,Popdropper, was released
in England in 1992 by Warner Music UK Ltd. |
